For the assessment of academic majors, departments and programs are charged with articulating clear, measurable student learning outcomes and developing an assessment plan that describe assessment procedures and dissemination plans that emphasize and facilitate the continual improvement of student learning. Departments and programs assess student learning in their majors by constructing their own assessment cycles. Annual assessment reports are submitted by each department and major-awarding program to the Dean of Curriculum and Research. Assessment materials and annual reports are stored in digital form on a Spaces site for each department/program.
